It varies greatly by destination. Some cases may require several months or more of preparation, so please reach out as soon as your plans start to take shape.

Who prepares and files the documents?
PetAir does not prepare or file documents for submission to government offices. When needed, we guide you to consult qualified professionals such as administrative scriveners, and we clarify individually whom to engage and the scope of each party's responsibilities.
Can you also help with returning to Japan?
Yes. We check the requirements of Japan's Animal Quarantine Service and the country you're departing from, then organize your preparation working backward from your return date.
Can snub-nosed breeds or senior pets travel too?
The decision depends on health condition, season, route, and airline regulations. We assess each case individually, including checking with your regular veterinarian and the airline.
