"They're family, so I can't leave them behind."
With that in mind, and through thorough preparation,I'll answer that.

Moving Abroad or Returning Home with Your Dog or Cat. We’ll help you organize the long and complex preparation process step by step, working backward from your departure date. We’ll provide comprehensive support to help you navigate the complicated procedures.

Why PetAir Was Created

Moving abroad, working overseas, studying abroad, returning home. When you decide to “explore the world with your family,” the first thing that often gives many people pause is making travel arrangements for their pets.

Microchips, rabies vaccinations, antibody tests. You need to gather all the necessary documents, make an appointment at the Animal Quarantine Station, and have your pet examined before departure. The order and timing of these steps are strictly defined, and regulations vary by destination; if you make even one mistake, your departure could be delayed by several months. “I can’t figure this out on my own,” “I don’t know how much the shipping company will handle”—we’ve heard comments like these time and time again.

PetAir is thisA team that organizes and carries out complex preparationsIt all started like this. We reorganize the tasks by working backward from the departure date and break down vague anxieties into concrete steps. We always provide you with just “the next thing to do.”

Our Philosophy

When a loved one is traveling, the most important thing isAccuracy of PreparationThat's right. We'll take care of the preparations.

The phrase “Pets are family” has been repeated time and again in this industry. We agree. However, we believe that protecting our family depends more on thorough preparation than on sheer willpower.

When things go wrong while traveling, it’s rarely because of a lack of care. It’s usually because the order of steps was mixed up, a deadline was misread, or there was a minor omission in the paperwork. Most of the time, it’s things like thatA Small Glitch in the PreparationsIt stems from...

That’s why we’ve chosen to demonstrate our commitment to peace of mind through tangible actions rather than just words. After you sign the contract, we summarize all the steps and deadlines on a single schedule; we keep records of all communications with the quarantine office; and a different staff member double-checks all documents before submission. This cumulative process of verification is what PetAir means by “peace of mind.”

Three Promises

To ensure that “peace of mind” isn’t just an empty promise, we’ve made a commitment to every customer to uphold three principles.

Promise 01

We'll provide you with "Next Steps" as needed.

Preparing for your trip takes several months, but you don’t need to keep track of everything at once. We’ll provide you with a step-by-step list of what you need to do right now, and by completing one task at a time before moving on to the next, we’ll ensure you’re ready by your departure date.

Promise 02

We always use a single point of contact.

Different staff members handle the process from the initial consultation through signing the contract, as well as the procedures after the contract is signed. However, since the handoff is handled entirely within our company, you won’t have to repeat the same explanations. Whether it’s airlines, veterinary clinics, or local agents—even as the number of parties you interact with increases, we remain your sole point of contact.

Promise 03

We comply with laws and regulations by dividing responsibilities.

We handle the collection and organization of information, as well as overall project management. Our partner firm, staffed by qualified professionals, is responsible for preparing and submitting documents to government agencies, and we double-check everything before submission. We believe that maintaining a clear distinction between these roles is essential to safeguarding our clients’ travel plans and their reputation.

Why a “Specialized Preparation Team”?

In the world of pet transportation, there are companies that serve a variety of roles. Some handle the actual transport, others specialize in handling paperwork, and still others provide comprehensive consultation services for moving abroad.

Among them, PetAir"Progress of Preparations"We focus on this because our customers’ real burden isn’t “transportation” or “paperwork.” The heaviest burden is,Completing all the necessary procedures in the correct order and within the deadlinesIt is.

That’s why we work to alleviate that burden step by step. After you sign the contract, we create a schedule working backward from the departure date, select a route that suits the pet’s size, keep a record of our communications with the quarantine office, and work out the specific details of the day’s itinerary.

Airlines fly planes; administrative scriveners handle paperwork. While there are experts in each of these fields, what’s truly needed is someone to bring it all together and see the process through to the end. That’s what we at PetAir do.

So you won't be in a rush on the day of departure.

If you’ve taken care of everything you need to do and have a plan for the day, you won’t have to rush on the morning of your departure. You’ll be able to stay calm even at the airport. Once we arrive, we’ll contact you right away to let you know we’ve arrived safely. We’ll leave the moment of welcoming your pet home to you and your family.

Our Future

Until now, we’ve seen off each family one by one. We’re working to make the records we’ve kept for each family “visible” to a wider audience. This is what we’re currently working on.

Publication of Country-Specific Knowledge

Quarantine regulations by country, required preparation time, and common pitfalls. I’ll be gradually publishing the insights I’ve gained on the ground as country-specific pages. This is so that those planning to travel can get a sense of the big picture before they leave.

Expand the range of supported languages

In addition to Japanese, we now have native English-speaking staff available to assist you. Going forward, we plan to expand the languages we offer to include Chinese and Korean. We hope that our customers in Asia will be able to make their travel arrangements in their native languages. That is our goal.

Expansion of Corporate and VIP Services

We arrange group travel for the families of our expatriate employees. For business executives and public figures, we ensure their travel remains discreet. In some cases, we even charter private jets. We will continue to refine our dedicated support system for corporate clients and VIPs.

One year after moving abroad, a family is living their usual daily lives in a new city. This is the kind of everyday life we strive to create.

The number of people moving around the world with their pets is sure to increase in the future. Our job, we believe, will continue to be providing each and every one of these couples with clear, easy-to-understand guidance on the process from departure to arrival.

We look forward to hearing from you regarding your travel plans.

During a free 30-minute consultation, we’ll provide you with a general outline of the process tailored to your trip and a rough estimate on the spot (a detailed itinerary worked backward from your departure date will be provided after you sign the contract). Even if you’re still undecided, please feel free to contact us.
