Kyrgyzstan and UzbekistanAs a general rule, import quarantine procedures for dogs and cats traveling to Japan from both countries are currently suspended.
microchipWe have been informed that numbers starting with "900202" are currently not accepted. Please do not enter these numbers on this page; instead, verify them in your records.
Antibody Test NotificationFollowing the revocation of Biobest Laboratories' designation, individuals who hold notification letters issued between November 27, 2024, and June 25, 2025, are advised to consult with the animal quarantine station at their destination.
Destinations in JapanThere are only a limited number of airports and ports where dogs can be imported. If you are bringing a cat to Haneda from a designated area, please also check for notices regarding the availability of cat holding rooms.
